FINISHED MY HOUSE FOR STAGING..LETS TAKE A LOOK!!

Hey all my friends in the world of staging and anyone who comes across this blog. Here is my house I finished..it took it's toll, it was worked over a period of 2 months yet I got the swine flu which held me out for 3 weeks in bed, I lost my precious westie dog that I had for 14 years so I was in mourning, I mean the list goes on and on! The thing is the funds for the home were getting low but God always, always came through! We got extra funds this week that helped me put the books overnighted to Canada, $70!!!! But we actually got it...So his plan is perfect and no matter what is happening at this moment, we have to trust Him! He is always there even when we don't see His work...when we're stressed to the tee. So I hope you like my house & there will be more to come..with other homes!!!

House working on in Norcross, GA

AHHHH! My Home town..sort of...with all the rain that we've had in the past couple of day's I really don't know where I live any more!! I am going to show you a couple of pictures of the same focal point, a beautiful, and I mean beautiful fireplace!! So I wanted to paint some sort of color to work with the elements. The walls are a cream color so I put a somewhat green, but the color made it look more like a grass green, I promise it isn't!

Please keep in mind this home is an absolute gem and the amount of work I am going and am putting into this house is going to make the buyer completely in love with it. Very earthy, and completely full of space and enchantment! Look no further and if you want more info on this great room please contact me. As a stager its not only my job to make the rooms look good but it's also my job to make the place look like a million bucks! I work hard and you need to know that only God can help me make homes look good because without His grace and mercy I would be going no where!

A texas ranch! With Before and After photo's!

Well I did a home staging in Bandera, Texas...the land of hills and beautiful country! I decided to help out with the home and I absolutely know Home Staging is all about simplifying and I know this is not it!! Try telling that to a texan! They don't believe in that, they believe everything has to be BIG and the BIGGER the better. So I took what I had and she gave me a lot to put into what she wanted! I'd be killed by my schooling but I have to please my client.


Anyway you see the before and now the after. It is a complete range look. I wish there was a fireplace but there wasn't. This focal point is the overall look of this room. As you can tell the before photo has the sofa on the right and the glass door beaming in the sunshine. Well the after photo is flipped. The glass door is to the left but it's still the same door. It's amazing how staging really is illusion, you would never know that this is the same living room!! I know there may be a lot of accessories but she wanted A TEXAS LOOK!! 


This ranch was a dude ranch back in the 50's through the 70's. Everything in this ranch had a lot of little houses used for guests. It had a long bar-b-que used for guests. The ranch hands had a shower used for outside that collected rain water. My dad owns the ranch now but the woman who owned it  had to do something with the house that wasn't lived in, so when it needed a through cleaning, I was it!! Clean, amazingly de-cluttered, and made into what she wanted so that it would sell and it did!!


I hope to have other things to show so that you like my web site and sooner or later I will have a portfolio worthy of portfolio's that look cool! Well some of you know my crazy sense of humor and others who don't will get to know me, cause if ya don't, how will ya...oh whatever...


So my new friends and old I have the swine flu or you know that stupid name H1N1 and I am obviously sick and tired of being sick and tired and I am sick and tired of being in bed now for 12 DAYS!!! 12 DAYS enough already...I can't get anything done!! I'm down and I decided tonight I would write and show a lot of my stuff. So enjoy!

New Web Site

I want everyone to see my new blog and new web site so I am listing it. My Home Staging has taken off, taken off slowly but God is showing me to lean on Him and He'll do the rest!! I am in the middle of staging a home in Norcross, Ga that is completely empty..a complete empty palate that will sell when I put my touch on it! Staging is an illusion, its what you want the buyer to see when they come into the house. You don't want them to see your personal items you want them to see what they envision!

So I need you all to walk with me on this journey and when you do you will find that through your prayers and always quoting Isaiah 40:31 "But those that wait upon the Lord will get fresh strength. God has been showing me this scripture over and over. Unless we renew our strength through Him...we will fail...I refuse to fail. My husband is falling apart because of me that I am not "working"...he doesn't want me to work on this certification He wants it NOW!! He is being attacked and because of this He is attacking us...so I daily plead the blood over my apt and move on...the enemy cannot have my husband nor can he have my family or me! This time in our world is hard but we've been through worse, so pray that we can over come and persevere...Pray for my new career and that God blesses me over and over! Donna's Mission Statement

For those that read my info about myself I just wanted to tell you a little more..One of my lessons is to make a mission statement so I would love to share it with you first!

"Welcome to Donna's Home Staging/Re-Designing. Based in Atlanta, GA and servicing the metro area, I service all clients residences that are being placed on the real estate market. Every home I re-design is a unique creation using my clients furnishings and accessories, if need be I would show the client the need for renting furniture. Not every client has the right ambiance, which makes it visualization difficult for prospective buyers. Furniture demonstrates to buyers a sense of scale & helps them gauge how their own furnishings will fit into the rooms. Creating a welcoming homey atmosphere that makes them want to stay.

I believe that what sets me apart is my commitment to excellence in the home staging services that I provide & the way I manage customer relationships. THANKS!!!

First thank you all for praying! I want to share with you what I wrote in my journal..last night my sister from NJ surprised me and showed up..well I knew about 7 hours earlier so I wrote this in my journal.

"Lord I had to clean the apt and in my mind I was cleaning it for Yvette..but I wasn't! I was doing it to have a sense of accomplishment. Yes I did good in myself, but I realized I don't need to do good with you! It was as if I needed to challenge myself by getting up and doing things but that isn't necessary to have you approve of me. You love me for me!! I don't need to clean or cook, or be Mrs Brady..I am not those people I am DONNA! Donna has a purpose an its being obedient, spending time with You in any way I can..but doing it! I need to pray with the kids, and Mike..change me Lord..because it's not always someone else.." My daily was so cool today and I wrote that too:
God is training me in steadiness. Too many things interrupt my awareness of God. He knows I'm in a world of sight and sound, but I must not be a slave to those stimuli. Awareness of God can continue in all circumstances, no matter what happens. This is what God desires. Don't let unexpected events throw you off course. Respond calmly and confidently, remembering God is with me! As soon as something grabs my attention, talk about it with Him. God shares our joy and problems. He helps us to cope with whatever is before us. This is how He lives and works in and through ME! This is the way of Peace!

Lighthouse

This was painted from a lighthouse in Denmark. I loved the image because in the foreground there is one lighthouse and another in the background. I may be a stager now but I am & will always be a fine artist!
